Rodd Hotels & Resorts National Business of the Year

October 24, 2005 …Rodd Hotels & Resorts honored with the APR Media Ltd. Business of the Year Award of Excellence for multiple unit operation. The 2005 Awards for Tourism Excellence presented by the Globe and Mail were announced in Quebec City early this week in recognition for outstanding contributions to the Canadian tourism Industry.

John Cudmore, President and COO was on hand to receive the award and comments “Being nominated and recognized by your industry peers is, indeed, an honor we at Rodd Hotels and Resorts hold in the highest regard. We feel we are in fine company with past recipients of Fairmont Hotels and Resorts and West Jet.”

He accepted the award on behalf of David Rodd, Chairman and CEO and his family, the management team of our 13 properties in Atlantic Canada and for the over 1000 employees that present the Rodd experience to their guests on a daily basis.
