Lobster Lover
Experience PEI-lobster-Mark-cropGet up close and personal with a lobster. Smell the salt air, feel the gentle breeze against your face, enjoy the thrill of taking a lobster right out of a trap and savour the experience of a traditional Island lobster supper aboard the 45-foot fishing boat Top Notch with Captain Mark Jenkins.

Tong & Shuck

The ultimate oyster lovers experience. Our oyster fisher will take you out in his dory and show you how to tong for your own oysters….and then shuck them right out of the water. It doesn't get any fresher than this. Learn how to tell the difference between standard and choice…then try your hand at shucking a few….and of course eating them too!

Digging for Dinner

The tide is out….a spade in one hand and a bucket in the other. That's pretty much all you need to go clamming. Ron Perry has been digging clams since he was little boy. He's full of stories and will talk your ear off as he helps you bring back a "feed" of clams.

Chocolate Delight

Starry Starry Night

So in order for you to enjoy the experience even more, we've created Starry Starry Night. With astronomers Ron & Rollie you'll see the night like never before.

GPS Adventure Quest
Experience PEI-GPS-Celes
Geocaching has been described as a high-tech scavenger hunt. You use a handheld GPS unit to find caches that have been hidden around the Island. It is a unique way to see Prince Edward Island because the caches are usually hidden in places most tourists would never visit because they don't know about them.

 Glorious Glass
Experience PEI-Glorious Glass-workshop
Learn the beauty of creating fused glass with award-winning artisan Marcela Rosemberg. You'll create a beautiful plate that is your own personal work of art and Island souvenir.

Woven Treasures

Owner for an Evening

Imagine what it would be like to own a magnificent race horse thundering down the track toward the finish line. We'll make you an Owner for an Evening….meet your horse and driver, enjoy a buffet dinner and be part of the official photo if your horse wins.

Just Horsin' Around

There's nothing more calming than watching mares and foals on a warm sunny day. At Meridian Farms near Charlottetown, this is an every day occurrence. You'll learn all about the business of raising standard bred horses, how they're trained and how they're raced. And if you like, you can even take one for a spin around the track.

For the Love of Tea

Gongfu Cha means "the making of an excellent cup of tea." and Pat Craig has definitely perfected the art after spending two years in China. The tea ceremony is a feast for the senses…the aroma of the teas mingle with the smell of incense as gentle oriental music plays in the background while you sample white, green, oolong and black teas.

Back Roads Folk Art

The Back Road Folk Art studio is like no other place on Prince Edward Island....and Kerras Jeffrey is like no artist you've ever met before. And the time you'll spend with him carving your own unique piece of Island folk art will be truly special.
Location: Tignish - Available Daily (Full & Half day sessions).
Fee: $15/pp Full Day including lunch (Minimum 4). Ask about rates for larger groups up to 10.




Master Caster

Become a Master Caster and create your own personal pewter pendant, brooch or other jewelry piece. You'll work alongside our professional Master Caster, Bev Roach who will take you through the step-by-step process she uses everyday to create beautiful works of art.

Metal Magic

Enter a strange world populated by some of the most bizarre creatures you've ever seen. There are cats and frogs ... lobsters and spiders...lady slippers and daisies ... turtles, flies and crabs.
All the creations are by Dianne and Eric Schurman who have a passion for taking things other people don't want and turning them into amazing works of intriguing folk art. You will work with Eric and Dianne to create your own personal creature.
Location: Travellers Rest: Tues, Wed, Thurs 9:00 am - 12:00 noon.

Pinhole Pictures

Imagine taking magnificent photographs like this with a camera you make yourself from an old tin can! Under the creative guidance of Mary Carr-Chaisson you could be creating your own photographic works of art. You'll leave with your own pinhole camera, photos you took yourself and a great story to tell your friends and relatives back home about what you did on your vacation!

Step Back in Time
Experience PEI-Step Back in timeRe-live the story of the Prince Edward Island ship building industry in its glory days. You'll explore the restored Victorian rooms of historic Yeo house in Port Hill, home of successful ship builder James Yeo Jr., considered to be the richest and most influential man in the colony in the mid-1800's. And you'll participate in the chores of the day…spinning, weaving, gardening, baking scone...
Location: Tyne Valley: Daily 1:00-4:00 pm.

Pick & Press
Experience PEI-apple picking-man
By the end of August, with the summer days shortening and the air turning crisp, it's apple picking time at Wintermoor Orchard in York, Prince Edward Island. Pick your own apples and then make your own cider.
Location: York: Tues/Wed/Thurs (9:30 am- 12 noon).

Learning the Ropes

GPS Heritage Quest
A truly unique way to explore the architectural history of downtown Charlottetown using a handheld GPS unit to navigate you to some of our most historic and intriguing buildings while you search for solutions to our customized crossword puzzle.

Taste the Town
For the "Foodies" this is a must experience. A culinary walking tour of downtown Charlottetown with tasting stops where you sample oysters, olive oils & balsamic vinegars, chocolate dipped potato chips, COWS ice cream, mussels, Gahan House beer and Prince Edward Distillery spirits.
