Show Synopsis:
Tex in the city is the story of a country boy who makes his way to Charlottetown to get a taste of city life, and city women. He has been hired to take over the advice column that his great-grandmother originally penned in PEI's floundering Bi-Daily Newspaper. He's in for a surprise when his farming analogies aren't relevant or useful to his city counterparts, and when he struggles to make a connection with the feisty city-girl who catches his eye. Tex and the rest of the newspaper staff have prepared a series of presentations to convince funders that the paper is worth reinvesting in- but one of his co-workers doesn't have the best interest of the paper at heart. When the evening takes an unexpected turn, everyone finds themselves relying on Tex's advice more than ever to keep the paper alive. 

There is a variety of music in the show spanning several decades that will really play on the country vs. city dynamic and have everyone singing along.
