What happens when two families arrive at the same cozy cabin, both expecting the perfect Christmas getaway? Neither one is willing to leave, so they're forced to make the best of a very awkward situation.
Add in some wealthy and wonderfully eccentric neighbours with too much money, too much Christmas spirit, and absolutely no sense of boundaries, along with ridiculous Christmas challenges and plenty of holiday chaos, and their peaceful getaway quickly becomes anything but.
