Beaches

Rodd Moncton is ideally located near some of New Brunswick’s most popular beaches, all within a short drive. The closest and most well-known is Parlee Beach Provincial Park, located about 20 minutes away in Shediac, featuring warm saltwater, soft sand, and full amenities. While many refer to a “Shediac Beach,” this typically means Parlee Beach, as it is the main beach along Shediac Bay. Other nearby options include Aboiteau Beach, known for its relaxed setting and boardwalk, Irving Eco-Centre: La Dune de Bouctouche for scenic dunes and nature trails, and Murray Beach Provincial Park for a quieter coastal experience. All of these beaches sit along the Northumberland Strait, known for having some of the warmest saltwater in Canada, making them perfect for a day trip from Moncton.
